Bristol Food Connections is an array of accessible and affordable food events in the heart of Bristol. There will be an exciting mixture of produce markets, food trails, talks, debates and walks and demonstrations and classes.
It’s set to be a feast for the senses, and The Ethicurean Team are very excited to be involved.
On Saturday the 3rd May, Jack and Matthew, will be answering questions, posed by Tim Hayward. On Wednesday 7th May, you can join Jack at No.1 Harbourside, between 6-7pm, where he will teach you How to make Vermouth. You can discover the history of Vermouth and also learn how The Ethicurean make their own Somerset version. Book tickets here.
Iain and Matthew will be holding a Cooking Demonstration on Saturday 10th May between 5-6pm, which will show you how to make a Japanese stock with UK ingredients. The trout recipe, which will be the focus of the evening at No.1 Harbourside, is from The Ethicurean Cookbook. Book tickets here.
To round things up, Jack will be hosting a Rum Tasting on Saturday 10th May, between 6.15pm – 7pm. He will be demonstrating the art and construction of a rum cocktail, and will also be giving tasters of The New Dawn Traders’ Tres Hombres Rum. Book Tickets here.
