The Barley Wood gardener, Mr Mark Cox, has finally come out of hibernation and set to work on sorting out his grande charge. The Peas are in, broad beans lined up in regimental fashion. Tom Thumb lettuces have been pressed politely into their raised brick beds and the the glass house greens are perspiring gently onto their transparent roof. The Orchard’s blossom is iminent and the Daffodils premature in their bloom are fading, despite their forthcoming appearance on Mother’s Day. The first rhubarb has made it into The Ethicurean kitchen, finding itself quickly buried in the bottom of a delicious Rhubarb Fool. Wrington Vale is waking up and The Ethicureans are hungry!
