I visited your Ethicurian Cafe for tea and cakes with a dear friend on Friday morning and was made to feel very welcome.
We enjoyed our tea and coffee,my cake was lush and the atmosphere was bussing with new life and future plans.
    I wish you well!
Am bringing my husband out to have a coffee on Sunday….I hope he too will see that your exciting plans to extend onto the land and make a staged veranda for theatre or musical evenings is something to look forward to.

    Hi Guys,

Just wanted to say a big thank you for the fantastic experience we had at your cafe on Monthering Sunday, beautifully presented food, original and delicious menu and an atmosphere that was relaxing for us with both children and grandparents.

Look forward to many more visits.

    Hi All,

I just wanted to say a huge thanks once again for the wonderful Hen night experience we all shared last night (16th April 2011), everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves, the wine tasting was lovely followed by a truly excellent meal!!!
You are all so friendly and your passion about food is reflected in your menu choice and the mouth watering presentation, not forgetting the delicious taste of the food as it hits the palate.

I wish we had an outstanding restaurant like yours where I live!
I look forward to visiting you again in the future.

Wishing you continued growth and success of your business in the years ahead.

I first came to the walled garden a few days before the previous cafe owners left and have been meaning to come back ever since, very glad I made the decision to come for lunch today, the celeriac soup with blue viney cheese was delicious and the bread that came with it was too good!

Please could you let me know the recipe for the apple cake with cinnamon cream that you sold at the Abergeveny food festival in Wales??

    Many thanks

      Hello Danielle,

I’m afraid that you’re not the first to ask, the list includes a handful of food writers and chefs. The answers still the same…. You can on the other hand visit us in our beautiful walled garden and have lunch followed by another toffee apple cake!

      Thank you for the inquiry,

      The Ethicurean
